VOSTOK 2809
This is a Vostok 2809 Precision made in 1960 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the formation of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialistic Republic in 1920. This watch was made in Chistopol, a small town located on the Kama river in Tartastan. The movement is a 2809 22J.

The picture on the dial is a view on Kazan. During that time the capital of the republic.
Below the painting on the dial and an original photograph of the same view somewhere in the beginning of 1930.
I bought a second watch with a slightly different dial. Not as handsom as the one above, but a good catch for the money.
